Online card making and stamping classes for beginning and novice stampers - video one launched today!

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday!

Just a quick post to let you know that my new online class modules that I am running with my talented friend Kelly Kent are ready for launch! Our first module for Stamp In Confidence - Module One - Stamping Basics is all finished. We are kicking off at 6 pm Queensland time (AEST) today with the first video in the module, with the rest rolling out each day after that. Check out the launch time in your area here.

We've been working really hard on this module and have 6 videos - 4 information and 2 tutorials - plus written material to support them. So much is packed into this module - all for $6 AUD. Plus you get to interact with others learning the same content as you in a private Facebook group.

In Module One we share with you the basic products, materials and skills you need for basic stamping and card making.

This is just like a class - except you get to watch it in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you. You can create along with us, pause and re-watch the videos. Oh and did I mention that this online class module is packed with content? If you haven't registered yet, head over to the Online Class Modules page. You'll find all the information you need here so you can be registered and ready to watch and learn.

It is a great way to get started in card making and stamping. No experience required!

I am so exciting about this new venture. There is something special about teaching someone how to make a fabulous card and seeing the look of pride and excitement on their face. I hope you can join us in this program. If you know anyone who you think would be interested in our modules please feel free to pass on this information.

Just Add Ink #400 - Just Add Inspiration

Welcome Just Add Ink's 400th challenge! What an amazing achievement! I am so happy to be part of this amazing group of talented people. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs to celebrate our 400th challenge so make sure you head on over the the Just Add Ink page to check them out.

This week we have an inspiration picture to help spark your creative juices.

I was inspired by the colours and shapes .... plus it gave me the perfect opportunity to get my Apron of Love bundle inky. I am ashamed to say this is it's first time out of the packet. So little time!

I used the tiny circle stamp from the Text Ya Later stamp set to create this polka dot apron. I gave them a glossy finish by stamping in Versamark and heat embossing in clear.

How have I left it so long to use this bundle???? I can't wait to get some time to create lots more aprons in trendy designs.

The pocket has a double stack of dimensionals under the middle and glue dots around the edges to give it the 3D effect.

Make sure you pop on over to the Just Add Ink page to see how all the other Design Team members were inspired by this great pic. Why not enter your own creation? We always love seeing them!

Colour INKspiration Challenge #29 Blog Hop

Happy Wednesday! Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. As always we are kicking the challenge off with a blog hop. Whether you have just hopped over from my lovely friend, Kelly Kent or are starting with me you in for a real treat. I have had a sneak peek at the crew's projects and they are pretty amazing! So check our these dreamy colours.

I quite like these colours and wanted to also capture the feel of the picture as well.

It's quite a simple card but I was really happy with it. Some heat embossing of this gorgeous cake from Cake Soiree on Crumb Cake cardstock and colouring with Stampin' Write Markers was a great way to use the colours. If you are hunting for how I used the Chocolate Chip check out the tiny berries!

I love adding texture to cards with embossing folders. The Simple Stripes embossing folder is my favourite at the moment. It looks great from both sides. Here I have placed the textured side down. And of course everything looks better jacked up on foam adhesive strips!

The card inside got some love too.

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as white, black, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Metallics. Not a member of the Facebook group yet? Just click here and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in the fun too. We can't wait to see what you create with these gorgeous colours.

Next up we have the talented and creative Rebecca Scurr. Make sure you check out her take on this colour combination. You will love it!
